OSCON is an O’REILLY conference in Portland focusing on open source hardware and software. I was brought along with PO-MO to provide music and visuals for their PLANET OSCON party, a space themed party filled with laser tag, arcade machines, and an adult size jolly jumper. I felt since the theme of the conference is open source, I would use the TAGTOOL to provide a digital guest book.
I was really excited that the conference was in Portland. I am a big fan of Portlandia and it was fun to be outside in a city with no mosquitoes . We had great weather while we were there, and the city really is a cool and friendly place. However, I was aware that we were there for the two days of summer.
