Birch Bark Canoe Printed Copies!
For the last two months I have been working with Pauline Broderick, Peter Jordan, and Manitoba Aerospace to produce “The Birch Bark Canoe: Navigating a New World.” The project consists of a 20 min video exploring the birch bark canoe as an example of Aboriginal engineering. The curriculum guide assists teachers in using the canoe to discuss Aboriginal history, culture and issues in the classroom.
The launch event was nice. I worked on this in isolation, it is nice to finally meet and put faces to the emails.
